ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΑ

Dr Leoussi (Licence, Grenoble, France; MPhil, Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London; PhD, London School of Economics) is Co-Director of European Studies at the University of Reading, UK. She is a founding editor and currently one of the editors of the international academic journal, Nations and Nationalism. She is also a founder and currently a member of the Advisory Council of the Association for the Study of Ethnicity and Nationalism (ASEN), which is based in the Government Department of LSE. She was a Visiting Senior Fellow in the Government Department of LSE, in 2008-2012. She has published extensively on nationalism, the visual representation of national identity, and the classical tradition in European culture. Her book publications include, The Call of the Homeland: Diaspora Nationalisms, Past and Present, co-edited with Allon Gal and Anthony D. Smith (2010), Nationalism and Ethnosymbolism, co-edited with Steven Grosby (2006); Nationality and Nationalism (4 volumes) co-edited with Steven Grosby (2003), Encyclopaedia of Nationalism (2001), Nationalism and Classicism: The Classical Body as National Symbol in Nineteenth-Century England and France (1998).
